Mark Carter, US Navy Seal, and best friend to many- died this week in Iraq. It comes as a shock of sorts. It's a crapy way to find out what a buddy's been up to. Please check out the blog link that's included here and please pass it on for everyone to post comments onto. We need to honor his passing not only for his service to our country, but as friends and as family. wish I was home with the boys for this, but I love you guys. Its guys like Mark that raised me to the man I am today, for that I say thank you to him and the rest of my big brothers of Bonsall.

Mark was part of our family growing up in Bonsall. He and Zach (with Andy tooling behind) had many adventures. One night, at about age 12, they decided to get decked out like soldiers, smearing their faces with paint, and proceeded to the bush off of Old Highway 395! About an hour after dark, they came home saying that they were too scared to stay out overnight! Well, the three boys have grown up to be outstanding and fearless men! We are so proud of them. Well, now Mark has joined Zach in heaven. To the Carter family, we send our love, hugs and tears to you all. Mark is a hero and I am sure that you are very proud. The world needs more men like him!
Until we see them again...
Tomorrow, we will honor Mark at the Mark Carter Classic, fishing tournament - all proceeds with benefit the Naval Special Warfare Foundation, and the Seal Warrior Fund. Please donate with Garrett Holden or visit our website at www.markcarterclassic.com.
RIP Badger - we miss you.
